With Boost Upsell app, you can Import and Export offers in no time! This helps you to manage your offers easily.



Simply go to Add-to-cart Upsell managing page and click on the Import/Export button on the right-hand side corner.

1. How to import/export?

- Export: After clicking on the Export button, a CSV file will downloaded on your desktop which contains all of your current offers. 

- Import: You can edit existing offers or start to create new ones and then click on the Import button to upload the file. 

You can also download and view a sample product CSV file to use as a template for creating your own offers. All of the offers will be updated accordingly to the CSV file.

Each matching field with each step of offer creation are explained below:

  • ID: Offer's ID on our system. If you are editing an existing offer, this field has already been filled out automatically. If you are going to create a new offer, you can input '0' or 'New'.
  • Name: Simply input Offer's name to easily manage offers created. The offer's name will not be shown on actual offer.
  • Messagethis message will show on the offer popup, you can choose or create an attractive message to persuade your customers to buy more or upgrade a product. The only variable supported in this message is {{product name}}
  • Click action: this field reflects how your cart is updated after customer Add to cart Upsell item:
    • Add another product to cart - If a customer ads Upsell item to cart, target product will remain and not be replaced in cart
    • Replace_product: Alternate target product - If the customer adds Upsell item to cart, target product will be replaced by Upsell item in the cart.
  • Target type: items having Upsell offer applied
    • products: specific products on store.
    • collections: specific collections on store.
    • smart_collections: a group of products defined by simple rules set by shop owners


  • Target ID: product ID or collection ID of the Upsell item (How to get this ID will be instructed below).
  • Offer type: Upsell item.
    • products: specific products on store.
    • collections: specific collections on store.
    • smart_collections: a grouping of products defined by simple rules set by shop owners
  • Offer ID: product ID or collection ID of the Upsell item (See instructions below on how to get the ID).
  • Discount product prices: this field reflects the lower price applied to the Upsell item.
  • Active: offer's status - 1 is on and 0 is off.

2. How the get product/ collection ID:

  • When you open a product in the Shopify back-end, the last numbers in the URL link is product ID.

  • The same with product ID, when you open a collection in the Shopify back-end, the last digits in the URL link is collection ID.
